Taiwanese Mailboxes

In high school, we were asked to focus on a documentation series of the utterly ordinary. I can’t remember what I picked for the project but that prompt has always stayed with me because of the way we often overlook the objects around us.

I wanted to document the vibrant colors and the slightly off symmetry of these mailboxes. The address on these mailboxes lets us know that they’re tucked in an alley in Taiwan and it’s as good a reminder as any to look around us more.
